Voicely is text-to-speech software
Customers paste their own written script, choose a synthetic voice, and download an MP3 narration of it. It is sold as prepaid credits and delivered instantly. Voicely is built for the languages that mainstream voice tools serve badly — above all Urdu and Hindi — and is bought by customers in 16 countries across five continents.
How the product works
The customer writes their script
They paste their own text into the editor — a video voiceover, a lesson, an audiobook passage, an advertisement.
They choose a voice and language
From a fixed catalogue of licensed synthetic voices covering Urdu, Hindi, English and 20+ other languages.
The software returns an MP3
Generation takes a few seconds and spends one credit. The file downloads immediately and is theirs to use commercially.
Languages
Voicely exists because mainstream voice tools serve South Asian languages badly. Urdu, Hindi and Hinglish are the core of the product; the rest are supported alongside them.
What the customer is buying
A licence to run the software for a set number of generations. One credit permits one text-to-speech generation, activated on the account the moment payment is verified. Generations are a usage allowance, not currency or stored value — no cash value, not transferable, not resellable, and usable only on Voicely. They do not expire.
Packs are one-time purchases. There is no subscription, no recurring billing, and nothing to cancel. Anyone can use the free tier first, without paying, to hear exactly what they would be buying before they buy it.
Audio is delivered as a standard MP3 download with no watermark. The customer owns the output — granted explicitly in the Terms of Use — and may use it in commercial work: monetised video, client voiceover, e-learning, advertising.

What Voicely does not do
Text-to-speech is often grouped with generative media tools whose risks it does not share. These limits are structural — they are properties of how the software is built, not promises about how it is used.
No voice cloning or voice conversion
Voicely cannot copy anyone's voice. There is no audio upload anywhere in the product — no microphone capture, no sample upload, no reference clip. Every voice is a fixed synthetic voice from a licensed catalogue.
No voice impersonation
No voice in the catalogue is modelled on, named after, or presented as a real or public person. Using Voicely to impersonate anyone is prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy and is grounds for immediate account termination.
No faces, images, or video
Voicely produces one output type: an audio file. It generates no human-like faces in realistic, stylised or animated form, no images, no video, and no face swaps or deepfakes of any kind.
No music generation
The product does not compose, generate, or supply music, songs, or backing tracks.
No text generation
Voicely does not write, draft, rewrite, or invent text. The customer supplies their own script and the software reads it aloud. It is a narration tool, not a writing tool.
No decisions about people
Voicely performs no automated decision-making, profiling, scoring, or categorisation of individuals. It converts a string of text into an audio file and does nothing else.
Voices are the licensed synthetic voices supplied by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and Google Gemini, used under their commercial terms. Voicely does not train, fine-tune, or host voice models of its own. Our Acceptable Use Policy prohibits impersonation of real people, and accounts found doing it are terminated.

Voicely is an approved member of the Google Cloud for Startups programme, and runs on Google Cloud Platform. Speech synthesis is served by Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and Google Gemini under their commercial terms.
