Privacy Policy
Last updated: February 22, 2026
Voicely is a free text-to-speech service. This policy explains what we store, why we store it, and how it may be used to operate and improve the service.
Key idea (please read)
Because Voicely is free, your generations may be stored and used to improve quality and to help other visitors (for example: training/evaluation, debugging, safety, and showing public examples). If you don’t want your text or audio reused, do not use the service and do not paste sensitive content.
What we collect
- Text you submit for generation (and a normalized version used for caching/deduping).
- Generated audio (MP3) and related metadata (voice selection, timestamps).
- Basic request data like IP address (or approximate network identifier), user-agent, referrer, and performance logs (to protect the service and fix issues).
- If you use the Contact form, we store the email you submit.
How we use your content
- To generate and deliver audio to you.
- To improve speed and quality (caching, deduplication, evaluation and tuning).
- To prevent abuse, fraud, and harmful use.
- To support other visitors — including using generations as examples in the community/library or for training and support operations.
Public sharing
If you create or share a public link (for example via a /share link), the content behind that link may be accessible to others. Share only what you’re comfortable making public.
What you should not submit
- Passwords, OTP codes, bank details, CNIC/SSN, private addresses, or confidential personal data.
- Highly sensitive private information about yourself or others.
Data retention
We may retain text, audio, and logs as long as needed to operate, improve, and secure the service. Because public links and caching are part of Voicely, deletion may not always be immediate.
Your choices
- Don’t submit sensitive content.
- Don’t share links publicly if you want to keep them private.
