Does CapCut have text to speech?

Yes — CapCut includes a built-in text-to-speech tool under Audio → Text to speech. What varies is which languages and voices your build offers; the list differs by app version and region, and several languages that creators want are either missing or limited to one or two voices. When the voice you need is not there, the standard workaround is to generate the audio elsewhere and import the MP3 as an ordinary audio track.

How do I add a custom voiceover to CapCut?

Generate the voice in Voicely and download the MP3. In CapCut, tap Audio, then Sounds, then import from device, and select the file. It lands on the audio timeline as a normal clip you can split, trim, fade and sync. The whole loop takes about two minutes.

Is CapCut text to speech free?

CapCut's built-in tool is part of the app. Voicely, used for the languages CapCut does not cover well, is free to start — your first generation needs no account at all in most countries, Google sign-in adds 3 more, and 2 further generations arrive each day once your balance empties. Which languages does this workflow cover?

23, each with 30 neural voices: Urdu, Hindi, English, Arabic, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Portuguese, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Turkish, Russian, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese and Indonesian. Russian has 8 voices rather than 30.

Will the imported MP3 stay in sync?

Yes — it is a standard MP3. If you cut tightly to picture, generate each narration line as its own file so individual lines can be moved without re-rendering the whole voiceover.

Can I use the audio in monetised videos?

Yes. Downloads are clean MP3 with no watermark and no attribution requirement, and commercial use in your own videos is permitted on the free tier.

Does it work on the CapCut mobile app?
