To promote women’s economic empowerment and ensure sustainable financial security for their families. several small-scale startup businesses have been initiated through the collaborative efforts of PAIMAN Organization and International civil society action network These initiatives aim to equip women with practical skills, resources, and opportunities that enable them to become financially independent and active contributors to their local economies. In this context, recognizing the consistently growing demand for quality spices in households and local markets, a TOLANA member, Ms. Nageena, took a significant step by establishing her own spice business with the support and guidance of Paiman Organization and ICAN. This initiative not only reflects her entrepreneurial spirit but also highlights the effectiveness of community-based support systems in uplifting women. Ms. Nageena has successfully completed basic training related to this business. The training covered essential aspects such as the selection of raw materials, hygienic preparation methods, proper grinding and processing techniques, attractive and safe packing. Through her spice business, Ms. Nageena is now contributing to her household income, helping to improve her family’s financial stability.
