This war was between the North and the South… On one side was the United States… and on the other, the Confederate States. The main cause of this conflict was slavery and the struggle for power. The war lasted for 4 long years… And more than 600,000 people lost their lives. In the end, the North emerged victorious… And slavery was permanently abolished.
